Director – The Here After

Goteborg Magnus von Horn was born in 1983 in Göteborg, Sweden. After finishing high school he attended film theory studies at the University of Göteborg and also began working in the Swedish film industry. Starting out at the distribution and production department of Sonet Film in Stockholm where he worked on distributing such films as Miffo (2003, Sonet Film) and Den Tredje VÃ¥gen (2003, Sonet Film). Simultaneously he worked as assistant script reader for the same company and also as light assistant on the film set of Rancid (2004, Sonet Film) and second camera assistant on Som man bäddar (2005, Omega Film). Magnus then left the Swedish film industry to pursue his film directing dreams at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School (PWSFTViT) in Lodz, where he is currently attending his last year of MA studies at the film directing department. So far he has produced several short films including the documentary RADEK (2006) and the short-fiction MILK TEETH (2007). His latest film, ECHO (2009), has already received numerous awards, including the Silver Hobby-Horse for the director of the best short fiction film at the Krakow Film Festival, the Best Film Award at Munich International Festival of Film Schools and the Grand Prix at the Open Student Film Festival in St. Petersburg, at the Student Film Festival CineMAiubit in Bucharest and at the Festival Tous Courts - Rencontres Cinématographiques dAix-en-Provence.

Goteborg Magnus von Cuerno nació en 1983 en Gotemburgo, Suecia. Después de terminar la escuela secundaria estudio sobre la teoría del cine en la Universidad de Gotemburgo y también comenzó a trabajar en la industria del cine sueco. Comenzando desde el departamento de distribución y producción de Sonet Film en Estocolmo, donde trabajó en la distribución de películas como Miffo (2003, Sonet Film) y Den Tredje VÃ¥gen (2003, Sonet Film). Al mismo tiempo trabajó como asistente lector de guiones para la misma empresa y también como asistente de luces en el set de filmación de Rancid (2004, Sonet Film) y el segundo asistente de cámara en Som man hombre bäddar (2005, Omega Film). Magnus abandona la industria cinematográfica sueca para perseguir sus sueños como director en la Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School (PWSFTViT) en Lodz, donde actualmente cursa el último año de su MA en el departamento de dirección de cine. Hasta el momento ha producido varios cortometrajes incluyendo el documental RADEK (2006) y el corto de ficción MILK TEETH (2007). Su última película, ECHO (2009), ya ha recibido numerosos premios, incluyendo el Silver Hobby Horse por mejor dirección de corto de ficción en el  Festival de Cine Internacional de Cracovia, el premio a mejor película en el Festival International de Escuelas de Cine en Munich y el Gran Prix Festival de Cine de Estudiantes en San Petersburgo, en el Festival de Cine Estudiantil de CineMAiubit en Bucarest y en el Festival Tous Courts - Rencontres Cinématographiques dAix-en-Provence.
